Make Love To Me In That Ancient Place -Silent Love

Make Love To Me In That Ancient Place - (Silent Love)

My love and I are from another world
We came from a cave or well
Well within ourselves so deep
That poured purity of being within, creating skin
We now can touch each other in the fever
This all took time of course
It formed thousands of miles beneath the earth
With molten red desire moving over passion
Over mountains rolling to create our souls
Forming love itself
At God’s command, from simple elements, He gave us hands
To hold and love each other
To bond with nature in the secret sacred garden
No other world or living thing distracts us
The hidden love so silent on the soundless kiss
It could not be missed by anyone but us
The fabric of life is there still measured
Clinging to each other
Glowing in the dark
In that ancient place

Hi Jan. I hope things are good with you. Thank you so much. I am surprised I even placed. I was afraid this poem might be too abstract and perhaps not grounded enough in the reality of the Soup audience. There are many of my works that I do not post here for that reason. I'm glad you appreciate it. Thanks. Have a pleasant day. Earl
