Make Love, Not War
We meant well.
What did they expect?--
took the education out of our schools,
along with God--
kept us at each other's throat;
blinding us with color;
pulling our strings;
picking our pockets;
plucking petals from
our flowery souls--
They! They! They!
You know who--
when, where, why
but how still now?
