Make Believe
The strength of the willow branches, the smile of the sun
Make believe
That this battle’s been won
Though the crash of the ocean makes a deafening sound
Make believe
That in time you’ll be found
As the sun begins to fade your consciousness does too
Just make believe
That the light stays with you
When life’s storm blows over and the world full of malice
Make believe
That this shack here is a palace
When comes the brief flash of lightning that deafening thunder in the sky
Just make believe
That the heavens will cry
And in the splendid fantasy that you’ve created in your mind
Make yourself believe
That in reality you can find
The little things that you imagine the perfect fantasy to be
Make the world believe
That it depends upon what you see
