Majesty

His pulchritude is perfect and divine
A wondrous revelation of God’s love.
This paragon of glory from above
Eight thousand precious gems could not outshine.

His blazing light the wicked do abhor;
It brings discomfort to an evil heart.
Charisma of divine and purest art
Can yet draw contrite spirits to adore.

Thank you Arturo. Quite a challenge and a slightly stilted effect due to the enforced rhyme scheme and compulsory vocabulary but hopefully, a poem of praise nevertheless! Pulchritude! How have I lived so many years without ever hearing this word?!
