Maiden Voyage

Orange-black
Oriole birds
Dip their wings
In holy water,
Before taking
Their maiden
Voyage across
The Sea of Galilee

Beautiful image created in your words, Gregory. And the topic was an uplifting read for a Sunday morning in Lent. Thanks for reading "Robbing the Dead" and "Crosses on Canopy Roads." Both of these incidents were sad and disturbing to me. Carolyn
