Maiden of the Falls
The heat is searing
Humidity high
Cooling required
My body cries
To the woods i head
For i know of a place
Where privacy allows
Ones body to grace
A ledge of old
Amid a clearing of green
Where the birds rejoice
In this beautiful scene
Before i arrive
You can hear the sounds
Of clear crystal waters
In rhapsody rebound
I pass through the lush
And my eyes behold
A maiden so shaped
With hair so gold
The water cascades
From this ledge of old
Sparklingly clear
Crisp and cold
Downwards it flows
As my view enthrals
A maiden so beautiful
Neath the falls
Inspired by Carolyn's Haiku " Showering 'Neath the Falls "
