Magnify Me

I may be small But the Lord will make me big He who turns a boy into a man Magnify me He who turns a midget into a giant Magnify me I may be a fool But the Lord has made me wise All men have two eyes But I have three Most men only look But I can see He who turns a civilian into a soldier Magnify me He who turns a peasant into a prince Magnify me I may be homeless Wandering hopelessly in limbo But the Lord can give me a home He could place a castle on top of a fruitful land And I will testify to the power of God And I will sing to his glory And tell the world my story He who turned David into a king Magnify me He who gave power unto to Samson Magnify me He who operates in the air Magnify me You may be poor But the Lord has not forgotten And even if you smell like gutter And eat food that is rotten He who made Jaja a slave to become king Magnify me Because it is not by our power that we have succeeded Foemen would have stepped on our heads If we had conceded He who made the universe Oh! Magnify me He who separated the land from water Oh! Magnify me He who created humanity Oh! Magnify me He who created the gods and angels Oh! Magnify me They may have technology And the ability to create From aeroplanes to cars And guns that we think are great But I have sent petitions to the highest power He whose intelligence supersedes that of men Oh! Magnify me He who scientists think he does not exist Oh! Magnify me As I stand before you each day on the account of sin And may your wrath not engulf us like raging fire He who turns clay into steel Oh! Magnify me He who turns fire into ice Oh! Magnify me He who turns flesh into spirit Oh! Magnify me He who lays nations low Oh! Magnify me He who makes nations great Oh! Magnify me Because it is not by our power that we have succeeded Foemen would have stepped on our heads If we had conceded Shine your light And liberate us from darkness Break the chains Oh! Lord and the shackles on our feet Guide us Great Sheppard to the green pastures that we eat And save us from the lions’ mouth Draw your sword and spear And grab hold of your shield Show us mercy and do not destroy what you have built
