Hey, gosh, Charles, this is what I was gonna do!! It was the only thing blue and gold I could find when I googled those colors. Hmmm, I will have to do a completely different take on it! Very nicely done!

Very nice tanka, Charles. I've seen these gorgeous birds at a "Parrot Jungle" in South Florida. The last line is priceless! I would love to hear them brag about themselves. Best wishes in Rick's contest! Love, Carolyn

Years ago, I worked at a convenience store, and somebody came in with a macaw. They are truly birds of regal splendor. You have a good writing here, Charles.
