Magical You

I know the rules
I know the reality
I know the evolution behind it
The anthropology behind it

I know it is all a chemical reaction
A swirling cauldron of hormones
Meant to fool, to create illusions,
To blind to all that is real

But still
You are so beautiful
And your skin is so soft
And the scent of your hair is divine
And you sparkle
And you are wonder
And you are magical

And I just want you next to me
Pressing against me
Because your touch brings me to peace
And because the feel of you against me saves me
And I so desperately need to be saved

Yes I know all the rules
But you are magic
And you are mine
And all I want is you
And all I need is you

I love you so much
