Magic Beans

I’d put you in my fairy tale; we’d scale a giant stalk. Heaven would be our journey's end; a treasure trove of love, our gold. But even magic beans would not have force enough to grow your heart. Written 1/7/15 by Andrea Dietrich for the Magic Beans Contest of PD

Nicely done. I like how much you convey in so few words. You also nailed it with the twist at the end. Good luck in the contest!

Love the twist! I was expecting happily ever after, but it is not to be. On a side note after your fairy tale...I met a girl the other day whose name is actually Cinderella!

An enchanting sijo, Andrea; you used the right dosage of words to work magic. I would have loved to be in your fairy tale, but then, the last line dampened my enthusiasm:) hugs // paul
