Maggie's Eyes
Spread a blanket out on a lawn
A scenic view of a nearby beach
faces, hands & feet
There's a kite flying in the sky
Laughter ensues
Piercing blue shining through her eyes
A passing beautiful butterfly
She treasured a red rose that was plucked before
Her deep humility unfolds to so much more
Mere silence...
A blend of sincere honesty and trust
Sings sweet songs of sheer elegance
