Made of Glass

Am I transparent
Am I even alive in your eyes
I feel dead, everything's wrong
Somehow pain knows where to find me
are we twins in some parallel universe
and heartbreak our distant cousin
What is my weakness
The mystery is new to me
Where am I
Am I trapped within myself breaking down
attempting to perform a jail break
This picture's frozen in my mind and it won't combust and float away
All the stories, memories has been stuck on rewind
into this still frame
My head is filled up with questions that I never knew
were even real
Am I transparent
Can you help me break out, break free, be me
Will these walls finally be torn down
Am I made of glass
Are you able to see straight through me
and see the things that kill me
