Made a Date With Divinity

Let me try this once more It's been such a long time Can I be as good as before? Would they catch my bluff or expect the best of me? I've gotta tip toe with closed doors and practice in front of the mirror Before I take the spotlight Don't wanna let them know I fell off the track Ain't gonna let them know that I turned my back I never changed, never will I'm good at lying, I'm good at hiding Let's hope they don't see the truth I'll rehearse alone in my mind And they'll never suspect a thing 'Cause I'll smile and I'll sing and I'll perform, do my thing but they'll never know That I never quit
