Macaulay Culkin

Kevin the kid, Macaulay Culkin,
Alone at home he was left sulkin’
Challenged the robbers on the block
On Christmas day gave them a shock.

Awww the classics. My favorite part was when he turned on the old mafia-style movie to pretend that he had a machine gun. Good clerihew!

I see that you like the Home Alone films! Glad you enjoyed my Clerihew. I have seen the series of 4 over and over again! My ten year old granddaughter never gets fed up seeing them, and she makes me watch them with her. She knows all the dialogue by heart and the actors have to repeat after her!:) No 5 should be out this year. All the best. // paul

Clever write, Paul. If sulkin is the only rhyme for Culkin, then you found the perfect fit!

Hi David! To be honest I did not look for another rhyming word, since 'sulkin' came to mind straight away before I started writing, and I stayed faithful to it. Thank you for enjoying...and for the visit. // paul
