Lungs Wrapped In Black

~ emptiness chokes lungs of night coughing from rib caged fever, a tight-rope walker lies still... amidst full moon’s howl pain, wrapped in black holocaust as her bridal dress withers, staining a torn, cancelled love… pre-nuptial songs crack ~ _________ Rick Parise's CONTEST: One Of Your Favz - 1 - 8 LINES!!! HI Nette, Oh yeah, this qualifies as dark poetry. Love the tight-rope walker lying still bc of his lung ailment. You can' get any darker than the holocaust either. Wow. Thanks for commenting on my recent work, Nette. You have that "special eye" ......lol. Gwendolen
