Luminous

Happiness, radiant, emits.
Joy, contagious as the flu.
Love surrounds him.
These emotions bounce off me—
but never enter.

Sorrow, my closest friend.
Solitude, my roommate.
Sorrow and solitude I wish upon myself—
myself only.

Through sorrow you reach out by seeing what you are missing or unable to reach. You have reached us her on PoetrySoup. You are never in solitude again.❤️
