Lulled By Waves

Sitting and watching the ocean
As waves crash endlessly on shore
A timeless rhythm plays upon the sands
Motion that rolls round and round
Surging and reclining endlessly
The methodical lapping creates a beat
The natural sounds of mother nature
The rise and fall of the waves
Lull us into a hypnotic state
Giving a sense of tranquillity and peace.

Your poem emulates the beat of the ocean, Phyllis. Yes, I hear you. I am so busy too. Thinking of all the stuff I need to get done in just two hours before Joe gets home. YIKES.

Serenity is one of the greatest values for any age. Congrat for your wonderful work and meditation. It reminds me of a poet whos chronicle of ages sounds somehow this way: My love and wisdom is play/ My play and wisdom is love/My love and play is wisdom: thus childhood/youth/ maturity.
