When I saw the title of this poem I just had to click on it and read it. Lucille Ball was my all time favorite actress and I love Lucy is still one of my favorite shows. I like your poem about her.

I love watching the old sitcoms, they really make me laugh, especially the chocolate factory one, and there's one where she is riding a lawnmower gone a muck zig zaging, circles, backward and forward, it is hilarious ~Constance

I never got beyond her painting an upper lip where there was no upper lip; why would a woman do that, when everyone can see she painted a lip where there was no lip? Aloha!

Yes Lucy was a funny lady and I understand she was very nice if she liked you but could be mean if she didn't. Actually we never really know with the stars because we only see the personna they deliver and hear what the tabloids say about them. A fine tribute to a much loved star. God Bless, JB

Judy, thanks so much for the visit and comment. I read Lucy could be difficult but she was brilliant also, so funny in I Love Lucy, I read she started out as a model, dancer, in many movies, even on broadway ~Constance

Gosh, I never missed I Love Lucy. I haven't seen the movie, but I hear it was well done. I loved the one where she stomped the grapes and the one where she and Ethel took a job on a candy line. Don't miss them! Good luck in the contest.

Milt, thanks so much for the visit and comment. I see I Love Lucy on a channel that plays old sitcoms. I love that candy line one too, it is called the Chocolate Factory, look for the one of her on a lawnmower, you can find it on utube ~Constance

I loved her shoe, Constance. Did you see the movie Being the Ricardo's? It was really good movie on the stress she was under in the 50s
