Loving You Lord

Loving You Lord

You can see the pain through my eyes from the hurt thats in your heart,
As You would really love to fix it, as You don't know where to start.
Every time I let You in a little, I shut You right back out,
As it makes me wonder why I am so scared to keep You in,
"I am a believer in you Lord, that is what I'm about!!!"
I'll say I love you Lord, as I will shout it from the mountian tops,
If that's what it takes for me to know, for me to acknowledge it in my heart.
I will never hurt again for it is here on paper with pen,
Yes if I look at the bottom of these feelings hitting paper
I will find my signature at the end.
You know I love you Lord, even after all this time.
I'm afraid cause when I'm always with You my heart is no longer mine.
So here it is Lord I'm giving my heart and LIFE to You.
I am waving my white flag in the sky.
I'm giving you my everything I will no longer wonder why.
I loved you then, I love you now, and somehow I know I always will.
So for me please take your time, and mold me in Your ways Lord.
