Loving Still

Low He laid, Jesus Christ Still upon the hay. Not a word from Him they heard As all looked down that day. High He hung, Jesus Christ Still upon the cross. Not a word from Him they heard As all looked up, in loss. Silently, the Christ was born And silently He died. Except for cries to God above, In stillness, love replied. Love replied without a word; His actions told the story. From time unto eternity, He’s still loving us to glory. Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, and like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, so He did not open His mouth.
