Loving Light
Love is like a blinding light
At First your looking
With all your might
To find the one
You’ll love forever
To find the one
To build a life together
Like a raging volcano
Ash swirling in the winds
Simmering and patient
The eruption begins
Love can be
Fiery
Passionate
And true
Love can be
Supportive
Understanding
Through and through
Giving all of me
To all of you
A lending ear
When times feel blue
A loving hug
A gentle whisper
A honest opinion
A harmless bicker
Through all the good and bad
Through all the up and downs
Through all the love and laughter
And the acting like clowns
That light you was once looking for
Is stronger than can be
That light is beaming a warm soft glow
Like a sunrise over the sea
For this is what true love is
A warm and beautiful glow
A love that feels so endless
And makes your soul feel whole
It was that one moment
In which my heart was stole
Walking together
A lifelong stroll.
