Love's Mystery

Love is like a mysterious drug,
for which you don’t know the effects to.
Sometimes it gives you a high and giddy feeling,
and sometimes you succumb to the bitterness and pain.

The mind is a very curious structure
for something the heart attributes by.
It seeks for something
that it doesn’t quite know about.

What is so interesting about Aphrodite’s power
that we so desire?
Like all certain pleasures,
it is soon to wear out.

Some just want it out of lust,
and some just want the ecstasy out of it.
Love can be very *****,
but I guess that’s just human nature.
