Love’s Music
If music be the food of love, play on;
play on, oh my Beloved.
Let the sweet melody of your song
fill the dark realms of night
like the beautiful voice
of a besotted nightingale.
Sing only for me …
only for me, my Beloved.
Like Passion Flowers
bursting into full bloom,
we drift enthralled by mellifluous melodies,
beyond the silent, shimmering moonlight,
into the soulful sanctity of love.
Stay with me… stay with me
from dusty dusk to dewy dawn,
seductive notes reverberating
with sensuous charm.
Only this sacred music can illumine
the silvery path, leading to
the golden chambers of our hungry hearts.
Blissfully intoxicated with
honeysuckle kisses and
lingering soft caresses,
harmoniously we blend
into a sublime symphony of love.
Oh the ecstasy of you!
Enchant me with your concerto
and rest your head
on the pillows of my warm breasts.
Play on, play on, oh my Beloved.
We’ll keep the music going;
keep the fire eternally burning.
Soar with me to heavenly heights,
on a million sparkling musical notes…
fill me with the sound of music,
fill me with the essence of love.
