Love's last embrace

I've spent a lifetime loving you
You've spent a lifetime running from my love
Full speed
As if it was gonna suffocate you
My love always caught up but this time
It's not as strong and it's not as quick
This time it's fading
So I hope
The air you breathe tastes sweeter
Because I will not be trying to suffocate you anymore.
