Love's Breath

Love lingers lost
Wandering like a breeze
Across my lips

Wanting that touch
A presence that heals
Patient reassurance

It seeks always
A warm hiding place
A heart worthy

Eyes that mist
Arms of gentle strength
Companion’s trust

Love lingers hoping
The breeze across my lips
Will be your breath
