Lovergirl

lovergirl

like a cup too full
you fill and then
spill all
over me

i’m your lovergirl

like a word turned 
in on itself 
swallowed
smoothly 
down

i’m  your lovergirl

like a hurt hung low
rocked to sweet
lullaby
then
sleep

i’m your lovergirl

like a sad heart song
from the depths
of my soul
you
steal

i’m your lovergirl
