Dark Angel on Crescent Moon' Poster, picture, metal print, paint by Krzysztof Christopher Kobylka | Displate

Love-drunk, Riding on the Moon

I’m ~love drunk on desire~
and feel as if I’m swinging,
       legs
              dangling,
from a crimson crescent moon
   that can even
~seduce the stars without a script.~
  See me here.
          I’m a longing
              scintillating Supernova
in a sky of Prussian blue
trying like a tantalizing Lilith
                      to tittilate you.

Will you join me in
             my ~fever of fixation~?
       Blaze for me
                like planet Vulcan and
~melt my tears into your sweet fire.~
     Shake the sky
   that I’m wobbling in
as I ride my passion crescent moon.
              Set me to t
                                u
                                  m

                                            n
                                               g
    the way the clouds
~spill a thousand secrets~.
          Send me at long last
        into your spinning orbit
  which I burn for
         as do holders of
 those thousand cloud-tossed
                  scarlet secrets.

Entwine me in your arms.
I want to twirl and whirl
inside this night of indigo with you
            til each and every star
has flickered out
                             in
                                  to

Dear Andrea I love the arrangement of lines, the art, and the way youv written this in a very heartfelt manner. My co judge agreed with my need to place this high as its just so very ethereal and has so many layers to it! I think of the moon in a very symbolic manner so I imagined what you meant and I was like 😱 oh my! Steamy! I also love the subtle use of alliterations here too! You know exactly what I need 🥹 the flow and the wordplay is so very pretty! I especially love the ending!

This is awesome, Andrea. It excited my senses. I'm happy to report that my eyes cleared and nose has improved, more zzzzs would be good. I am going to read this one more time, it is exhilarating.

Woahhh what an enchanting and hypnotising piece! Flaming with fierce metaphors! And what a coincidence sweet Andrea, I too jus posted for Ink's contest hahaha, felt so inspired to write! You really have woven a poetically exquisite and passionately stirring piece that I'm sure she would love to read! I adore the reference of Vulcan and Lilith here and so many lines, along with how you've presented the poem.. "Shake the sky that I’m wobbling in as I ride my passion crescent moon." Ahmaazinggg!! Best wishes to you in the contest, this will do well I'm sure! Sending you light and love ~ a fav ✨🌹🧜‍♀️🌙🧜‍♀️🌹✨
