Loved

Whenever I'm walking down the street, I see couples locking lips as their eyes meet. They're holding hands with heads on their shoulders And being together as they grow older. I feel left out because that's what I miss: I wish I had someone to hug and kiss. Being single is the absolute worst, But I'm hoping to break this dreadful curse. This loneliness is driving me insane! Won't somebody help me ease the pain? Doesn't anyone want me? Doesn't anybody care? There must be someone for me out there. If you're listening, I've one simple task: I just want to be loved. Is that too much to ask?
