Love Songs

You only ever play love songs when I'm sitting in this car. We've been so many places; I've seen you near and far. But no matter where we travel to I must confess you've set the bar. Because no other boy has tried to woo me, or even seen my scars. And there you sit with quiet attitude and thoughts wading through thick tar. This love has brought me to my knees; this fire left me charred. And still you fill my heart to bursting when you play love songs in this car.
