Love Song, Love Strong
Love...
Twinkling like stardust
Flowing through the heart
Like vibrant shadows, reflecting
The wonder of joy, laughter
Feelings that know the meaning of forever
Tender like the first kiss
Erasing all the doubt and dreariness
Caressing the memories, the breathless
Way that hope carries the heart
Into the peaceful place where light
Meets grace with its gentle embrace
Silent like the echo of dreams
Shimmering beneath the past’s fear
Breaking away the bits of fleshy
fragments fading into the forever, endless
secrets who are so alive and so complete
they vie for a piece of the chronicle,
the moment when starry eyes and pleasure
encounter the giggling of a child’s chuckle
Glowing just beneath the trees, oaks
Strong and wise, wistful like the skies
Revealing all the prayers that have sought
Solace below its limbs, its leaves, its autumn nights
The reflections of faith found in its bark…
There is the promise of a love
Who grows and grows…
Stronger with each summer, enduring
Winter with assurance that Spring
Will bring the attraction it craves, the wonder
Love so much stronger because it bore
The brisk cold, so cutting – the darkness,
The sucking sounds of the callous frost,
Ice hard and impersonal as the stone…
With the rekindling of the radiant sun…
There comes rejuvenation, rebirth,
Invigorating moments who know the heart –
The LOVE -
Is far fiercer than Winter’s storm!
