Love: Roses For Eyes
What are the things your eyes try to say?
Who is the “you” your eyes hide?
Behind the black dot revealing yourself,
There’s an honest and beautiful wild,
At times we see hurt wrapped up in grief,
Sometimes there’s a panic or fear,
Sometimes we see unbridled blind rage,
Behind your calmest veneer,
But today, right now, you’re calm- in control,
Right now you’re happy and fun,
Right now your eyes say you want to meet,
That perfect and special someone,
The eyes into you, behind things that you do,
Walking with you all day long,
Seem to be seeking love in your life,
As they both sing a rose coloured song.
