Love Renewed

Fabric divides flesh by flesh,
Lips pursed always refresh,
My memory,
Of what was meant to be;
My song sung so surreal,
I prick my hands just to feel,
To know for sure,
What my desires bore,
I see destiny in your eyes,
Never came as a surprise,
When you tossed me aside,
Watch the new day rise,
Now that we can perspire,
In our collective wildfire,
Over every human desire,
You are what I aspire,
To attain,
The rain,
Will cease soon,
I’ll watch the moon,
And know you see the same.
