LOVE OBSESSION

You are an inspiration
For my heart
You have a captivation
In your eyes
Who’s that creepin’ by your window ?
Who’s that with an ear at your door ?
Is it love obsession ? Is it love obsession ?
Is it love obsession or is it me ?

You’ve got a smile that lights up
The night sky.
With a personality
Brighter still.
Who’s that sneekin’ by your doorway ?
Who’s that caught with a phony disguise ?
Is it love obsession ? Is it love obsession ?
Is it love obsession or is it me ?

I’m out of my mind and soul
With lustful passion.
I’ve got a need for something
I can’t have
Who’s that hiding in the shadows again ?
Who’s that trying to get a glimpse of your face ?
Is it love obsession ? Is it love obsession ?

I was born in 1953 in London, Canada and have been writing poetry, short stories and essays for 50 years. This poem is about loving someone so much it becomes an obsession and the 'creep' comes out. Currently I am the paint pro at Home Depot.
