Love Notes and Used Syringes
In our last kiss
Vodka lingered on your lips...
Always looking for the next high,
For my sake I said goodbye.
Because you were so different than before,
I realized I loved you no more.
You fell so far
And forgot who you are...
You said you wanted to change...
But it was always the same.
You lost yourself
And you were too stoned for help.
The track marks under your sleeves
Were the things to make me leave.
I left you be you wanted me,
To take the pain away; set you free.
He was too far gone in alcohol and drug binges...
He took his own life and left me love notes and used syringes.
