Recipient of love letters
with bliss-delight
I appreciate messages
in their passionate earnestness.
Here am I nostalgic
of affectionate expressions
...worth sharing especially with a special friend
awaiting her wondrous altar date.*
…You’re the beauteous Eve
who completes my ribs
as it finds belongingness in yours
toward one flesh partnership of cleaving and clinging
marked by endearing engagement's blessed union:
sublime --- beyond mere romance...
…You’re the virtuous woman
of the Scriptures’ Proverbs 31:10-31
whom I want to exchange
my “till death do us part”
along sweet assertion
marked by faithfulness' assurance;
Most especially,
you’re the bride
I have earnestly prayed
to be espoused with
to nourish and cherish,
according to Ephesians 5:29.
God be thanked for His love that brings into realities’ fruition
genuine love poems, surpassing fantasies’ pleasure…
Since He is the perfect Lover, the wondrous Source of true love**
the impeccable Author of love poetry that’s life-transforming!
