Love Left Here a While
`
I found the truth to this shimmering in the depths of her eyes
cold turned warm as time turned to ice
frozen in moments I'd rather forget
moments I frequent just to remember love's true frequency
I stay tuned in
the rhythm of you I still dance to
heart beats never felt so musical like hard beats
I have to remind me how inhibit the tapping of my feet
sweet tune you are......................
whats love?
sweet tune you were
for you see
love has a bitter aftertaste
a fact ignored by thumping chests
and to jump in we won't hesitate just in case
this could be the one
I know the last time was worse than the last time
an unfamiliar voice called hope says maybe the next time is my last time
lust lasts longer than love when love is without lust
lust puts back the luster on my face
and love leaves me a broken man
she is love.....................
she was love..
the Bhuda taught me of impermanance but this hurt wont die
and without you I'd rather die is a lie
love left me for her religion
now me and God dont see eye to eye
her hug was my drug
...me and my addictive charector
what good is a heart that carries a thousand cracks
I try to hide even when they see that it holds no more
passion dams broken and the rivers ran dry
if you ever feel that I dont feel love, dont ask me why
love left here a while.
