Love, Known and Unknown

As the trees shiver with delight at the fresh autumn breeze, The cycle of life has met his match with her. Her cloak now adorned with all the fallen acorns, while gently the sun abates for less to see. Its sensual warmth no longer felt by lovers in fields. Unaware of the web of love, I allowed my heart to falter. Now struggling in a world so cold, I fall. I fall grasping for breath that perhaps may fill me with the joy I once knew.

Beautiful romantic imagery, WW! I know it's been too long a while since my eyes graced your eclectic poetry. But, it was so enjoyable to visit your muse again. There's always hope in the struggle to find love, eh. Such an elegant poem! Love and peace always.

LOve this poem, better though to have known love than never knowing of love, or is it?

Beautiful melancholy Budgie, love can be so euphoric but also so so painful you wish to die but we still will chase it again and again.
