I have never spelled Mama correctly, I have spelled it Moma since I first learned letters

Dedicated to my Moma
Mom’s loving hands knitted me Barbie’ clothes, my son’s small sweater I display in pose, and our blanket of unique square patterns. Our cute child animal mittens were cool. Wool surrounds me, comforts me, love is wool.

My senses in totality are in awe of your wonderful lines. Liquefied bliss from the boil of glorious words has brought out enchanting aroma beyond scaling. 7 is simply an underscore for this fine share.

I really like this, CayCay! In your last line, 'wool' could substitute for 'mom', so your allegory is complete! All the best for the contest. Hugs, Sandra

I love your take on the wool theme CayCay - our friend unpicked one of dad's old jumpers and made mum a blanket - that sure comforts her:-) good luck in the contest

Is jumper a sweater? I'm not familiar with that. I can certainly understand wrapping up in the feel, smell and familiarity of your husband's clothes. Makes all the sense in the world. You are so right about holding on to things just because someone we love made them. GUILTY! CayCay

It is so hard to get rid of thse things they hold such wonderful memories:-) Mum wanted to keep one of dad's old jumpers but they were so huge and baggy and the blanket is a lovely memory for her and she is close to him all the time:-) hugs jan xx

Oh, Jan - you should have seen the precious Barbie clothes! And my son's toddler sweater - white with red fire truck, black ladder, and his name in black above - all on the back, it was button-down style and lined. It hangs in my dining room, can't bare just storing it somewhere. Thank you for commenting, love your visits ... CayCay
