Love is the Answer
Love is the answer
Love is the key
Love opens doors
And gives me eyes to see
And to live from the heart
Is what I am here for
And to find inner peace
I awoke with
Anger my answer
And all I could see.
So irritated and agitated
And full of negativity,
But your hug and loving eyes, were the key
To unlock and set my heart free
And remind me why I am here:
To live each day in love and in peace.
Today you don’t have an answer,
But are lost in your fears.
Body trembling and shaking
The child in your eyes,
Confused and full of tears
And the pain in your heart
Seems to be all that is here
But in my arms when I hold you
You feel safe, loved and find inner peace.
How will we find answers
When all we can see
Is fear, war and destruction
And leaders, full of dishonesty.
But we do have a choice
To make our minds and hearts free
And choose love and humanity
Then we know what we are here for
To live in joy and in peace.
Love is the answer
