Author's Notes: This new Terzanelle of mine is very much reflective of its title: "Love is that Eternal Magic in Your Eyes." This title also constitutes this poem's central theme. It has been a topic of interest for me over the last few months or so. As with many different types of themes and poems, sometimes things align at the right time in a writer's mind to go ahead and develop and build out a certain theme of interest. This is exactly what happened to me with this particular specialty poem. As many of you probably already know, this is reflective to a certain degree of just how the creative process works. At least, in this instance, I can speak for myself. Love is certainly a most powerful emotion. It defines us as living, thinking beings in God's own image, and it is at the base of who we are as human beings and is reflective of our ability and desire to love one another, and to show compassion for others. Love is that Eternal Magic in Your Eyes Love is that eternal magic in your eyes, That excites my heart with the truest emotion, And it says your love’s my real heavenly prize. Destiny plays its role in our mutual devotion, As the angels affirm our love by God’s delight; That excites my heart with the truest emotion. The passion of our love feels now forever right, And we embrace with the sweetest deep kiss, As the angels affirm our love by God’s delight. A rhapsody defines our moments of true bliss, Whilst we search for our own empyrean desire, And we embrace with the sweetest deep kiss. Our feelings are blessed by His divine inspire. Love’s power is eternal in God’s cosmic view, Whilst we search for our own empyrean desire. The angels speak to us now gentle and true; Love’s power is eternal in God’s cosmic view.
