Love Is Not a Duel
Shadow blue,the shaded you
will you turn and share love's light
passion cooled, yet grow's colder
our challenge,is not the fight
Darkness fill's an empty well
deep space's long for your return
a candle lit,a lantern held
will reveal romantic burn
the sting of insecurity
the tinge of fired jealousy
keep's us from what we should be
one love for all to see
Our love will be our guarded well
a romantic tale,only we can tell
will you accept it,help me to protect it
........our challenge,is not the fight.....
must end domestic violence....the crime of passion
