Love Is Everywhere
Moon and sun are fighting over me
They make me smile and laugh
I love them both, but in different ways
I show them my face, so they understand
The days are pretty here; I appreciate the marigolds
They laugh and giggle until I get closer; seeing them as faeries
Dragonflies and butterflies land on my shoulders
God is good, giving me beauty and love in bird chatter
So much to be grateful for, gratitude floods through me
Giant oak soldiers surround my property, guarding me from harm.
Raccoon, opossum, fox, turtle, bunny, squirrel have been here today
In the day’s silence I feel spirit of my ancestors, and my spirit guides
My power animal comes up to greet me in deer form.
Blessed I am to have the joy of this communion.
Life is grand; the bumble bee flits by, happily agreeing
Love is everywhere; my yard is alive, showing me her love.
