Love Is Blooming

She looked in the mirror,
and couldn't believe her eyes,
her mother's gown,
was just her size.

Today a bride,
tomorrow a wife,
yesterday's news,
she carries new life.

Only nineteen,
they say their vows,
determined to make it,
a happy marriage somehow.

Happily ever after,
no one can say,
but love is blooming,
on her wedding day.

This is lovely! The rhyme and flow are great but the imagery of the bride is truly breathtaking and promise of a happy life as well. Michael
