Love Is Always Love

Often when we attempt
to reveal the world
in true shades of light
and dark – we become
lost in the pallet of self – 

I don't know that
one needs focus
to be sharp (lasers
vs suns) as much of
what we do a mere carbon
copy of the great already
done – just on smaller
paper, to compensate
for the foreshortened
reach of human arms 
and minds – 

I love you
not out of need alone,
but simply for the sake
of loving – no love ever
wasted on the ears and
eyes of Heaven, our 
greater light 
and trajectory – 

Love is always
Love....
