Love Is All We Need
The sirens go off,
The terror has begun,
Running, screaming,
They hear the blast of the gun.
Then desperation struck,
People hanging off a plane,
Hoping it will keep them safe,
Will they ever be the same?
The yells, the shrieks,
Are too heart-wrenching to hear,
And to see the little children,
Curled up in fear.
People's rights are taken away,
It's turning into a war,
Crying themselves to sleep,
Fearing that they'll live no more
These power mongers don't care,
How much damage has been done,
All they aspire,
Is how to shoot a gun.
Why does this happen?
Why do people want more power?
Arent their rights,
enough to devour?
We are all the same,
We're all flesh and bones,
Love keeps up together,
Why do we need sticks and stones?
