Love Is a Many Splendored Thing

Love is a many splendored thing A hit song once used that title Love is a major part of all our lives The emotion that's particularly vital Vital in the health and total well being Of all creatures great and small Contentment that lasts for all eternity It's the greatest treasure of all It seems the older this old guy gets The more passionate he becomes D'ya think I might need to visit a shrink Will my addiction be overcome Riding off into the sunset with milady Yelling ride 'em cowboy, yeehaw Real true love's a many splendored thing Should make true love the law © Jack Ellison 2014

Thank you Jack for reminding me of this gem of a song...Nat King Cole's version above all. Love is what we make it; it has to be lived..it has to be nurtured through all its stages. // another passionate write my friend. // paul

Oh Oh! Dragon heard the word Treasure! At 2 girlie stuff just doesn't register so well, So he's off to the park to find treasure. What he'll get... is into trouble with the policeman who patrols it. He REALLY shouldn't have singed his pants! He was banned for a week. silly Dragon! One should never huff or puff smoke at a policeman, especially when he says NO! The council is thinking of changing the patrolman to a fireman or wizard. Dragon loves anyone that can play with his fire... Safer, too!

I never huff or puff smoke at policemen! They really don't have a sense of humour. Pass that along to your fiery friend! XOXOX

That's my hubby there. We met when we were twelve...He asked me out at 14....and I refused. Then again at 17 and I accepted. He strung me along until 26 till he finally married me! ;) Thanks for the comment. Hugs!
