Love Is

Love is...feeling safe, tucked in by mom..closing your eyes to the
sound of her voice..and knowing daddy is protectively close by.

Love is...that first love...the one love...you'll never forget.  How they felt, 
how they kissed.  Your heart feels heavy when you think of them and
wonder if they still think of you.

Love is...stubborn...routine...strong...
The kind of love that survives life.  Patient when passion doesn't
work and passionate when patience doesn't...Best friend love.

Love is...just weird
We use this word to describe so many feelings, but to me in the end...
it simply means I care more about you than I do myself....

You have written of the love at which we love another more than ourselves, I believe that is the key to a beautiful relationship, if you do that you will have a long and strong, heartfelt relationship that will last forever! You have listed a grouping of meanings of love that is so true, I was in awe of it's complexity though still in simple words! You did awesome! What a perfect poem, Great Work!!
