Love In Time

How can you dangle my heart as you do 

When you know there are piranhas in the sea

How can I make you feel something you won't 

Denying me of the love you once gave so freely 

You always said forever" this I believed to be true 

Now I see my footprints wandering alone in the sand

Wondering if you were ever really here in the first place

To feel these doubts piercing  through  my very soul  

Could we not dance to the song in our hearts once more 

Could we not celebrate our love just once more in time 

Is it not to the end that we should love forever more 

Let us keep our candle burning bright this very night   

Somewhere in the darkness, I search for you 

This madness of a roller coaster is breaking me

I look from the window I see the heavens are open 

Angels in heaven know we belong together always

For sure love is a wild ride in the midst of chaos

Eyes so piercing as they float through my soul

There's music in the wind as it is playing our song 

Listen to the tones as the wind spreads our love 

Journey with me through time and space 

Let our love feel our embrace once again

Faraz Ajmal February 25, 2018 at 6:17 AM It s a stunning write, really beautiful and full of sadness, you see that love is like a rubber if one leaves it, it will hurt the other, just remember one rhing if someone leaves you once he for sure can leave you again, I m not sure here but I guess here instead of leaving you are writig about death, that he dies, I m I right? Still both ways I pray for the happiness of borh of you and that you should again meet each other, if not in this world, then definitely in heaven
