Love In the Late Hours of a Windy Autumn Morning
LOVE ON A WINDY AUTUMN MORNING
Early this morning, staring at the beach, I saw the sun rise
lifting itself lazily it’s rays stinging my mind alive with vigor
streaking sunlight reached my solemn space waking my heart
to feel the breath of my sweetheart on my arm
Summer is loved by many
but a breezy autumn morning is my favorite
when leaves enjoy the first of their beautiful umber colors
and prepare to resist the approaching winter freeze
Autumn's mild wind makes my skin cool
it mixes with my heart's warmth
This morning I mused about my honey's own spirit
rising to light the world with harmony in her eyes
She offers her ecstasy and her sublime love gift
extending her body to me slowly, breathlessly, anxiously
engulfing my breath like no other
We snuggle close on this advancing autumn morning
laying lazily on our sky blue satin sheets
and make love
the sun and I together rise to our zenith
Unabashed, dressed in our birthday suits,
my sweetheart and I share our energetic love
our ecstasy beckons the sweat onto our skin
the wind whips the autumn morning breeze
Deliciously.
