Love In Quatorzain

 
Is there something you want to tell me my love (?)
because I have things I need to say to you;
I thought we had forever that we would grow old,
together-   and be looking back on a life sky blue !

Why did you not listen to me that cold snowy day (?)
you just laughed at me and left;
I was still sleeping when the telephone was ringing !

Ringing and ringing and ringing-  I answered,
now, I stand at your tomb and you are gone, gone;
your face will haunt my every moment forever,
tell me why you left that day, John (?)

I am so angry with you and I love you so much,
they say it was an accident-  was it my love(?)
I wonder sometimes about that !

If this is a true account, please accept my sympathy. It must have been an accident, Hon. Beautifully written. Surely a winner!
