Love In Quatorzain

Is there something you want to tell me my love (?) because I have things I need to say to you; I thought we had forever that we would grow old, together- and be looking back on a life sky blue ! Why did you not listen to me that cold snowy day (?) you just laughed at me and left; I was still sleeping when the telephone was ringing ! Ringing and ringing and ringing- I answered, now, I stand at your tomb and you are gone, gone; your face will haunt my every moment forever, tell me why you left that day, John (?) I am so angry with you and I love you so much, they say it was an accident- was it my love(?) Though I'm unfamiliar with the form, your words evoke a lot of emotion and I can sense the despair so well. (Was your hubby named John too?) If this is a true account, please accept my sympathy. It must have been an accident, Hon. Beautifully written. Surely a winner! Hugs, Carolyn

Carolyn, thank you for visiting my poem and for your comment ,and compliment the story is true, his name was not John (I needed something to rhyme with gone) they called it an accident but was it ? I will never know, hugs _Constance
